Education Session
Leveraging Club Data to Support Strategic Decision-Making
Presented by Ben Hopkinson
GGA Partners
Private clubs have the ability to collect valuable datapoints (at minimal cost) to support future strategy and to enhance the member experience. But very few Clubs are using their data to its full potential. In this session, Ben Hopkinson (Director at GGA Partners and Chair of GGA's Research Committee) will highlight some of the most valuable sources of data collection that we encourage all clubs to focus on, sharing low cost and low time commitment tips for collecting relevant data as well as how to turn that data into meaningful strategic insights. The session will also explore interesting case studies and success stories of using existing Club data to support strategic decision making.
What can attendees expect to learn?
- A roadmap for meaningful data collection at your Club that requires minimal added resources in terms of cost or time.
- A list of basic analysis tools and techniques GGA uses to turn data into mean valuable insights (you don't have to be an excel expert!)
- New and emerging trends in private club member behaviour and technology adoption based on recent analytical findings
- Collective learning from the group regarding current data collection and analysis challenges, case studies and success stories
