Calling all NJCMA Young Professionals 40 years and younger, we encourage you to participate and create connections with other chapter leaders

 Join us for

Platform Tennis “Paddle” 101 & Happy Hour
Tuesday, February 28th , 2017
4:00pm – 6:00pm

Hosted by Head Racquets Professional John Milbank of Morris County Golf Club
Come visit Morris County’s brand new paddle facility and learn the game of Platform Tennis!
John will give a brief overview of the sport followed by a clinic for all of us to try out the game!
Stop by or stay and play.
Once everyone has had enough activity, we will head to the Stirling Tavern in Morristown
Dress code: Sneakers, athletic apparel, outdoor gear (racquets/balls will be provided)

Brief bio of John Milbank:
In his playing career, John has won 18 state paddle titles including 6 national championships, 4 state tennis championships and he qualified for the Canadian Masters in ATP satellite play in 1992.  He recorded numerous singles and doubles victories over top 50 ATP ranked players and Davis Cup players, including a victory in 1992 over Paul Annacone, who was ranked #9 in the world at the time. This January, John and his paddle mixed doubles partner, Bobo Delaney, made it to the finals and won.  They faced Mikk Irdoja (Estonia Davis Cup) and Carol D’Alessandro.  Mikk is the head pro at Essex Fells CC and the 9th ranked men’s player paddle player in the USA.  This is their 12th NJ State Mixed title in 14 finals.
